Chapter 29//Taking good care of you

Opening my eyes, I see the brightness of the sun coming into through the windows as I hear a knock on the door.

"Sid, Brie,"
It is LC.

"I'm up," I say softly not to wake up Sidney.

"Do you want breakfast?"

"Yeah, I'm getting out of bed,"

"You need help?"

"No, I can do it,"
I move the covers off of me as I kiss Sidney on his forehead.

Moving my legs, I make my way down to the end of the bed as I place my feet on the ground.
Slowly but surely I start walking/hopping a little as I go out of the room and shutting the door.

"Sure you don't need help?" LC asks as we slowly walk out of Sidney's wing and into the main house.

"Yeah, I can do this,"
I was bound and determined to do this without anyone help.

"Good morning Brie, you need help?" Trina asks as I see her getting out of her chair.

"No I'm good," I say as I watch my sister pull out a chair for me.

I sit down as I see LC sit down by James.

"Where is Sid?" James asks as I see Mario walking into the kicthen.

"He is still in bed sleeping," I say.

"Why didn't you get him up?" James asks.

"I'm not rude," I say smiling as Mario sits down at the head of the table.

"Where is Sid at?" Mario asks as Nathalie came, placing plates in front of us.

"He is still in bed," I say.

"Ahh, sleeping in. How are you this morning Brie? feeling any better?" Mario asks.

"I'm ok, getting the hang of walking again,"

"Good, I'm glad to hear that. Nat are you going to New york still this afternoon?" Mario asks as I dig into breakfast.

"Yes I am and LC is also coming to New York for the next two games," Nathalie says as I turn and look over at LC.

"I already cleared it with my doctor Brielle," LC says as I was giving her a stare.

"Alright, just don't want nothing to happen to either of you," I say.
I am surprised that LC is going on the trip but at the same time I'm not. She wants to support James and I respect that, only wish I could travel to New York for the games.

"Nothing well," LC says as I look at James with my stare, like a stare that if they get hurt, your dead.

"When does the plane leave anyways?" Trina asks.

"I believe at noon and it's 10 now," Mario says.

"Excuse me, got to go wake up Sid,"
I watch as Trina heads for the wing as I finish my breakfast up.

"Thank you for making breakfast Nat," I say as I turn, trying to get up out of the chair.

"I'll get your plate Brie," Nathalie says as I get on both of my feet.

"I want to do it," I say as I walk very slowly to the sink as I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Morning babe," Sid says as I felt goosebumps go over my body.

"Morning," I say as I turn around in his strong arms to face him.

"You sleep well?"

"I got up before you, so I guess I did,"
He leans over and kisses me.

"Good, I'm glad you gaining your walking ability back,"

"Me too, I found out LC is going to new York with the team,"

"Oh, is she ok too?"

"Yeah but keep and extra eye out for her please,"

"I will,"
He kisses me as I start walking back to the table as I didn't see James, LC, Nat or Mario.

"Where they go?" I ask as I sit back into my chair.

"To get changed and ready to leave. You ready Sid?" Trina asks.

"I'm not going with the team today mom, I got a early flight in the morning to New York," Sid says as I look over at him.

"Don't you have pratice today?" Trina asks.

"The team does yes, but I told Dan I was coming in the morning of the game and he said that is fine as long as I make it there by 10 in the morning for morning skate,"

"You'll have a early flight then,"

"That I will, can you take me to the airport abour 6 tomorrow morning?"

"Sure, is your dad going with them today?"

"Yeah, I told him to go ahead without me and he said basically I needed to go today but he understands why I'm delaying it,"
He looks over at me with the biggest smile on his face.

"Ahh, want another day with her before you leave,"

"I would have done it whether she was here or still in the hosptial, I waited til last minute to leave,"
Just as she finished that he cell phone begins to ring.

"Excuse me," Sid says as he picks up the phone and walks away.

"I told you he is crazy for you," Trina says as we both smile.
I watch Sidney as he talks on the phone.

How was I ever blessed to have such a good man come into my life and my life taking a whole 360 degree turn.

"Babe you have an appt this afternoon at the hosptial. They want to see how you are doing and how much you are imrpvoing," Sid says as he takes a seat besides me.

"Guess you picked the right day to stay behind," Trina says.

"Yea, mom are you still staying here tomorrow?" Sid asks.

"Yes I am, someone needs to be here with Brielle while she is recovering," Trina says.
I smile.

"Hey Sid, can you take me, LC and my mom to the airport? We want to get there a little bit early," James asks.

"Sure, let me get dressed real quick," Sid says as she rushes into the wing.

"Why so early James?" I ask.

"Just want to get first pick at seats,"

"Ahh I understand then,"
Just as I see Sid coming out, I stand up.

"Babe you want to go?" Sid asks as I nod my head.

"That's why I stood up, I was going to ask you," I say.

"Alright, where is LC at?" Sid asks as I start walking slowly into the living room as I see my sister standing there with her purse.

"Are you going with Sid?" LC asks.

"Yep," I say as she decides to head out with me instead of waiting on Neal and Sid.

"I wish you could go," LC says as we both walk slowly down the steps then down the sidewalk to Sid's car.

"Babe you ok?" Sid asks as I stop and see him getting besides me.

"I'm ok Sid," I say as he leans over and kisses me.
I let LC walk ahead of me as I open the passinger side door and getting into the car.
Grabbing my legs, I brought both of them into the car as I close the door.

I let out a big breath of air as I take a few seconds to catch up.

"I'm helping you next time," Sid says as I buckle up.

"Ok," I say as I feel him being to back out then go down the driveway.

"Going to your house Neal?" Sid asks as he stops at the end of the driveway.

"Yes, my mom should be waiting outside," James says as Sid turns to the right to head for James's house.

"Alright," Sid says as he reaches and grabs for my hand.
He interlocks our fingers together.

"You are dedicated to her Sid," James just says out of the air.

"Yeah I am and I know you are to LC. Is she asleep?" Sid asks as I turn my head and seen her eyes close.

"I'm just resting, I didn't sleep well," LC says as I turn around as Sid is pulling into James's driveway.
I see Deborah walking down the driveway as I hear her opening the door up.

"You ok LC?" Deborah asks as I turn around watching Deb buckling in.

"Yeah, I didn't sleep so good last night," LC says.

"Get used to it,"
I smile.

She will have to get used to the baby keeping her up, or waking her up in the middle of the night. Then she might have restless legs, thats the worst.

I face forward as Sidney pulls out and heads down the road to the airport.

"Sid are you going with us?" Deborah asks.

"No, I'm flying out tomorrow, going to spend the day with Brielle. She has an appointment this afternoon, so I picked a lucky day to stay home," Sid says as he squeeses my hand.

"Ahh well thats understandable,"
For the rest of the trip, everything is silence as Sidney pulls up to the back of the airport and parks near the Penguins plane.

"Thank you Sid," Deb says as I unbuckle.

"Your welcome," Sid says as I turn to see all three of the getting out then grabbing their baggage.
A knock came from my window as I look to see LC standing there.

Rolling it down, LC gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Let me know everything about the appointment," LC says.

"As long as you let me know when you land in New York,"

"I will, Sid take care of her until you leave tomorrow," LC says.

"You know I will LC," Sid says.
LC smiles as she walks away from the window as I watch her, James, and Deb head over for the plane.

"I wish I could go to New York then you and your mom could go early with the team," I say.

"I wish you could too but at the same time I rather you get cleared before you fly,"

"Agree,"
We smile at one another as Sidney turns around and heads for the Lemieux's house.

"Are we going to do anything today besides going to the doctors appointment?" I ask.

"You want to see Pittsburgh?" Sid asks.

"Like how?"

"You will see, if the doctor says its ok too,"

"Ok,"

Sidney is just the most caring guy that I ever met. He respects me and he loves me dearly. Where did I ever find him at? Why did he choose me out of any other woman in Pittsburgh?

I just smile the entire way back to the house as Sidney drives up the driveway.

"Mario, Nat and my dad are gone," Sid says as he parks besides my Range Rover.

"How can you tell?" I ask as I unbuckle and opening my door.

"Mario's sports car is missing. Stay put,"Sid says as I sit in the seat until I see him.
He wraps one of his arms around my back and the other went under my legs as he picks me up.

"I'm not to heavy am I?" I ask as I look at him.

"Never,"
He leans a little to kiss my square on the lips as he then heads up the sidewalk and to the front door.

"How was the ride?" Trina asks as she is sitting on the front porch.
Sid places me on the swing next to his mom as he took the chair.

"It was fine, I love car rides," I say.

"Glad you do cause you'll be taking alot of care rides with him," Trina says as it makes me laugh.

"I'm fine with that," I say, looking back over at Sid.

Chapter 28// We knew it!!!

"Hey James we gotta go," Sid says.

"What time is it?" James asks.

"Like 10 til 6,"
I watch as Sid and James gets up.
Sid leans over and kisses me as I knew James was doing the samething.

"I love you, Bre," Sid says.

"I love you too,"
He smiles at me as I do the same

"Dad you coming?" Sid asks as he walks into the dining room area

"Sid, your dad went with Mario and your mom to the arena," Nathalie says as she walks out of the kitchen

"I gotta hurry up, We car pooling Nealer?"
I turn to see James still kissing LC pretty passionately.

"James,"
He lifts up his head, "yeah me and mom will car pool with you. Love you LC,"
He kisses LC and walks over to the door as Deb gets up and hugs LC.

"Protect your sister," Deb told me.

"I always do,"
She smiles as she walks over to James as all three of them walk out the door.

"Why did you decide to stay home?" I ask, knowing my sis was suppose to go to the game.

"Didn't want to go though all those fans and with the possbility of that chick showing up there. I would need rushed to the hosptial if I get that upset again,"

"Don't worry about her,"
Just as I say that the door bell rings.

"I got it girls," Nathalie says.
I turn my head to the door as I watch her open the door.

"You need to get off my property, now please,"
I get up off the couch.

"Brielle where you going?" LC says.

"Stay here,"
I slowly walk over to the door and get besides Nat who is talking to the chick who thinks she is our sister.

"Brielle I have something to tell you," she says.

"I don't want to hear it, you caused something bad today and I dont want to listen to you. My mom says get off the property so do it," I say.
I wasn't going to take any of her shit.

"I really do have something to tell you though,"
She has papers in her hand.

"Is it in the papers?"
She hands them to me.

"Now leave, I'll read them,"
She just stood there.

"Please," Nathalie says as she turns around and walks away.
I turn around as I start reading the papers as I hear the door shut.

The DNA result

Miss Brittani Heather Collins is not Michael James Collins daughter. The blood results didn't match up.
I look up and head over for the couch.

"who was at the door?" LC asks as I walk behind the couch and stop.

"That chick from the mall. she isn't our sister like she said she was. The DNA doesnt match," I say.
I hand her the papers

"That's good, I wouldn't like her for a sister anyways. I have the best sister right here," LC says as I sit besides her and she throws the papers on the ground.

"You girls want dinner before the game?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes please," LC says.

"Bre?"

"I'm good thank you,"
Nat walks into the kicthen area.

"Aren't you hungry sis?" LC asks.

"Not really, I'll ask for something if I get hungry,"

"Your not sick are you?"

"Nah, just not hungry,"

Nathalie came back in with a plate for LC as she changes the channel to Root Sports so we can watch Game 2 of the second round.
She moves the recliner as she sit down in it.

I just focus on the TV.

And hour later the puck is dropping to begin game 2.

"Why didn't you go Nat?" LC asks.

"To take care of you two, you are pregnant and Brielle has a hard time walking right now. I will be going to games 3 and 4 in New York with Mario. I believe Trina and Deb are staying behind to help out for thoses times," Nathalie says.

"You could have went," LC says.

"I couldn't of, you two are like my older daugthers. Never leave family behind,"
I smile at the fact that Nathalie thinks of us as her daughters when she already has 3 of them.

Watching the game, Sid and James are the only ones who scored the whole game and they won the games 3 to 0. A shutout.

"Yes we won, hear that baby," LC says as I watch her rubbing her tummy.
That makes me wish that Tiffany was here with me, but I know she didint make it for a reason. Dont know the reason.

"The boys will be happy when they get back home," I say as Nathalie turns the TV to a different channel, a movie channel which had the very beginning of Sweet Home Alabama on it.

"You girls seen this?" Nat asks

"Oh yeah, this is my favorite movie as well as LC's," I say as LC is laying down on the rest of the couch.

"You ok LC?" Nathalie asks.

"Yeah just got a little tired,"
LC has her arms around her belly as I lay down on the other half of the couch.

"You ok Brielle?" LC asks.

"I'm tired too,"

"Your not pregnant are you?"
She was laughing.

"No I'm not,"
I slowly begin to close my eyes. I couldn't wait for Sid to get home.



Sidney's POV


"Do you think the girls are up?" James asks.

"No idea. Think LC might be out cold but I dont know about Bre," I say.
My parents drove home with Mario as James's parents went to Nealer's house for the night.

I turn the wheel in the drive as I hit in the pin as the gate opens.

"Finally we are here," James says.
James just wants theses games to end so he can come back to LC, hes just too excited after theses games.

Turning, I park the range rover besides Brielle's dark black one.
As soon as I shut down the engine James gets out.

I get out as I had a smile on my face walking up the sidewalk and to the front porch.

Walking into the house, I see Nathalie sitting in the recliner.

"She is asleep over here Sid," she says in a soft voice.
Walking over to that way I see her fast asleep as I turn to see James picking up LC in his arms.

"Night Sid," James says.
I get in front of the couch as I slightly bend then over to pick Brielle into my arms.

Once into my arms, I head off for my wing.

"Night Nat, see you in the morning," I say softly.

"Night Sid,"
I head for my wing as I walk into that area, I kick my door shut and head down the hall to my room.

Once in my room, I walk over to my bed and place Bree down softly then I move her gently by the wall as I strip and get into bed.

"Sid, good game," Brielle says in this soft voice.

"Thanks babe,"
I kiss her on the lips as I get close to her and wrap my arms around her.

"I love you," I say.
I hear her lightly snoring, she is out again.

A smile grows on my face as I close my eyes.

Chapter 27// Your in my life for one and only one reason, and that is to love me.

"Who are you?" LC asks as I look at the girl then back to my sister.

"I'm your sister, Brittani," she says.

I watch as LC gets up out of the chair.

"We don't have another sister, Brielle is my only sister," LC says as I could see she was getting upset.

"Yes you do, me. I'm our fathers lost daughter,"

"WE DONT HAVE A SISTER!!!" LC yells at the top of her lungs as I wheel in front of her as I turn to see Nathalie and Deborah.

"You need to leave," I say.

"You don't believe me?" she asks.

"No, now you need to leave. My sister is pregnant and she doesn't need you here. Your not family, we don't even know who you are or how you found us,"

"In the news that you killed our father, Michael James Collins,"

"Get outta here now," I say.
I watch as she started crying as she ran away as I turn around to Lauren.

"You ok?" I ask.

"Just in some pain," LC says.

"Take her to the bathroom to see if she is bleeding, if she is we are going to the ER," I say.
Nathalie and Debroah got up with LC and walked to the bathroom.

"Wow that was a shocker," Trina says.

"Yeah, I just hope LC is losing the baby cause of that girl, I swear if she does I'm gonna be hurt more then Lauren is," I say.

I just wheel my chair back and forth as I see LC walking back with Deb right beside her.

"I'm ok, no bleeding and no more pain," LC says as I wheel over to her and wrap my arms around her and her baby bump.

"I'm glad, I told Trina if something would have happened I would have to hurt someone," I say.

"Your such a good sister but me and this little one is ok,"
She hald her belly.

"Should we all get some food and head back to the house before the boys get home?" Nathalie asks.

"I'm finish with mine, I'm going to go walking around," LC says.

"I'll tag along," Deborah says as I watch them walk off.
I knew she was gonna call James.

"So what do you want for food?" Nathalie asks as Trina sat down next to me.

"It doesnt matte Nathalie, as long as it not a hot dog, hamburger or chinese food," I say.

"Alright,"
she walks away.

"Trina I dont know what I would have done if she would have lost that life," I say.

"Everything is fine, she is fine and the baby is. You'll see when she has her next appointment," Trina says.

"I know, If I was her I would call to get in today,"

"Thats you, LC knows she hasn't lost her baby,"

"I know,"
It's just making me upset, guess something is close cause my hormones are every where.

Nathalie comes down with a tray full of subway as she sits down and passes out everyone their lunch.

"Hope a turkey and chicken sandwich is ok," Nathalie says.

"It's fine Nathalie, thank you," I say as I see LC coming back in a wheel chair with Deb pushing her.

"You ok" Nathalie asks.

"Yeah got tired of walking," LC says as Deb wheels LC by me as LC grabs my hand.

"I love you sis," LC says.

"I love you too, sure your ok?" I ask.

"I'm fine, I just called James and he is heading back home to meet me,"

"Why don't we head back to the house then, so we can meet James," Nathalie says.

"You sure? You can finish your lunch,"

"It's fine LC, let's wheel these two out and head back to the house,"
Guess Nathalie is the head of household lol

I wrap my sandwich up as I place it in my bag as I begin to move as I see Deb pushing LC in front of me.
So that means Trina is pushing me..

I'm glad that we are getting out of here, really didnt want to be in there any longer.
I look as we cross the parking lot as we came to Nathalie's SUV.

"LC do you want front seat or back seat?" Nathalie asks.

"Give front to Brielle, I'll take the back," LC says.

"You sure sis?" I ask.

"Yes,"
Trina stops the wheel chair by the passinger side door as I get up out of the chair.
Grabbing the door handle I open the door slowly as I got some help keeping it open.

Moving my way, I get into the car as I seen Trina put both of my legs into the car.

"Thank you," I say as she smiles closing the door.

I look back as I see Deb sitting besides LC as she is laying her head on Deb's shoulder.
I smile as I turn around as I hear a door shut.

"Are we ready?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes," Trina says as Nathalie back out of her place and head down the road to the house.

Just as we were near the house, my phone begins to ring.
Taking it out of my pocket, and answer it

"Hello," I say.

"Where you guys at? Nealer is pacing. Whats going on?" Sidney asks.

"I'll explain it to you later and we are on the street," I say.

"Alright, see you in a couple then, I love you,"

"I love you too,"
I hang up the phone just as Nathalie enters the pin as we drive up the driveway.
She turns and parking right besides the house.

A door opens as I turn to see James helping LC out of the car.
He is good for her.

Just as I open the door, I see Sidney standing there.

"Hey," I say as I try to get out of the car.

"Let me help you,"
He grabs my behind my back and under my legs as he pulls me from the car.

"Thank you,"
I wrap my arms around him.

"Your w elcome, whats wrong with LC?"

"This girl said she is out sister and LC just got too mad and upset over that. She wasn't bledding but in pain. I told your mom if something happens to that baby and it was that girls fault I was going after her,"

"I'm glad shes ok over all that,"

"Me too, ohh I heard you told your mom what happened to my baby,"

"I'm sorry, I was just talking about you and that came up,"

"Sid, its ok I'm not mad. Your mom got me out of the baby store when we were at the mall and I'm, glad she did. I cant take baby things right now,"
Just as I say that his hot lips came onto mind as he kisses me passionately, more passion then ever.

"Wow what was that for?" I ask.

"Cause I can," Sidney says.

"You two lover coming in?" James asks.
I smile as Sidney turns and heads for the door as I see James holding LC in his arms too.

Once inside, Sidney walks over and places me on the couch besides LC as James is behind her on the other side.
Sid then took a seat besides me.

"We will be in the kicthen,"I turn to see Deb, Nat, and Trina all head into the kicthen.

"Thank you for being my sister, sorry I scared you earlier," LC says as she grabs my hand.

"It's ok as long as you and the baby are safe, I'm good," I say as she wraps her arms around me and hugs me.

"I love you little sis,"

"I love you too,"
We smile at each other as we both turn at the same time and look at James and Sid.

I place my head down on his shoulder as he wraps his arms around me.

"How about we watch movies until the game?" Sidney suggested.

"Sure, we could all use that," LC says as I watch Sidney grab the remote and turn it to the movie channels.

We just sit there watching movies and cuddling.

Chapter 26// Where did I find you at?

Opening my eyes up, I see the sun coming in as I look to my side to see Sidney crawled up into a ball but has his arms around me.

"You two up?"
It is Trina.

"I don't think your son is up Trina," I say just as I feel a kiss on my neck.

"Breakfast is ready in the kicthen when you two get up,"
I turn as I see Sidney smiling at me as I cup his face and kiss him like I never had before.

"What was that for?" Sidney asks.

"Cause I can," I say as he kisses me back.

"Let's get up and go get some food,"
I smile as he gets out of the bed as I move to the edge of the bed.

"Want help?"

"I'll try it first,"
I slowly get up and begin to walk out of the room then down the hall and out of the wing.

"You need help?" Sidney asks.
I nod my head as he picked me up and carried me the rest of the way.

"Did you two get married already?" LC asks as I watch James pull out a chair.

"Nope not yet,"
Sidney places me in the chair.

I was putting the event that happened yesterday in the back of my head so I can focus on more important things. My dad was a abuser and got what he deserved yesterday.

"So Sid, James you ready for game 2 tonight?" Mario asks.

"I need to practice a bit more before tonight," James says.

"I think I'm ready for tonight," Sidney says.

We all finished eating breakfast as Sidney and James got ready for practice.

"Are you staying here today LC?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes until the game," LC says.
I can understand she wants to watch the game live.

"Alright, Brielle do you need anything?" Nat asks.

"Now I'm good,"
She went back into the kicthen as Sidney comes back.

"Want to go into the living room Brie before I leave or you ok?" Sidney asks.

"I can make it into the living room Sid, if not I got help from Nat," I say.

"Alright, I'm heading to practice. If you need anything call me please,"

"Oh Sidney she will be fine, now get your butt off to practice," Trina says.

He blushes a little bit.

He leans over my shoulder as I turn my head as he kisses me.

"Love you." Sidney says.

"Love you, see you when you get back,"
I watch as him and Troy head for the door.

"Arent you going to practice Mario?" LC asks.

"I'm staying behind for practice," Mario says.
I knew why he was.

After James left behind Sidney, LC had gone into the living room by herself as I hear a knock.

"I got it, sit down,"

I laugh as I lean over as she opens to door as Deborah is standing there.

"Come in Deb,"
I watch as she comes in.

"Brie,"
I turn around to see Trina sitting by me.

"Hey Trina,"

"You feeling better today?"

"Better then yesterday morning,"
She laughs a little.

"Good, I'm glad,"
Me and trina just talk a little bit more as we got to really know each other and she even told me stories about Sidney when he was little.

After we got through talking, she helps me into the living room as LC, Deborah, and Nathalie were talking. Mario had gone to practice after all.

"so what do you girls want to do while the boys are out?" Nat asks.

"Doesnt matter to me," Trina says.

"Let's go out  shopping," LC says.

"I dont know if I should go," I say.

"I'll help you Brielle," Nat says.

"I will too, you will be ok and we won't be out too long LC?" Trina asks.

"Maybe and hour, two tops,"
I know LC and she loves to shop wheather its for her or someone else. She is a shopper.

"alright, we might have to take the SUV," Nat says.

"Let's take that, Brie you can sit up front," LC says.
Nat heads out of the house as I stand up on my own.

"need help?" Deborah asks.

"No I'm good,"
I take my time to get to the door and I open it slowly.

Walking out the door, I grab the railing as  move step to step til I get down.

"Trina or Deb I need help,"
I am getting tired.

"I got you,"
I felt a arm go around me as I walk down the rest of the sidewalk and to the car door which is open.

I place my body into the car as I watch Trina place my legs into the car.

"Thank you Trina," I say as I see LC and Deb getting into the car.

"Your welcome sweetie," trina says as she closes the door getting into the back.

"We will get you a wheelchair when we get to the mall, so you dont have to exhausted yourself," Nathalie says.

"Thats a good idea, can I get one too?"
I laugh at my sisters remark.

"Nah, you can still walk,"
I laugh as Nathalie takes off down the driveway and to the mall.

the entire way to the mall, LC and Deborah was just talking about baby things as me, Nat and Trina talked about hockey and the subject of me and sidney being together.

"we are here," Nathalie says.
I open my door as I move my legs and then hop out of the car by myself.

"you ok sweetie?" Deborah asks.

"Yeah I'm good," I say
I start walking slowly to the entrence as I knew everyone was close behind me.

As I walk through the door, I see Nathalie heading to get a wheelchair for me.

"Here sit down in this,"
I sit down as I begin to get comfy.

"Want me to push you?" Nat asks.

"yes, if that wouldnt be a problem,"

"It's not,"
I smile as I begin to move.

"So where to first?" LC asks.

"Let's go to the baby stores first," Deborah says.

"alright, gotta look at the signs," Nat says.

We walked around the mall for 20 minute before we found a baby store.

"fianlly, my legs are killing me," LC says as we walk into the store.

"Didn't relize this mall is this big," Nat says.
I just giggle as we walk into the store.

I looked over at the girl things as tears began to come out of my eyes.

"Nat, can I wheel myself?" I ask, crying.

"Sure, you ok?"

"Yes,"
I wheel through the little girl things as I stop by this outfit.
It is pink with little white and purple flowers on it, it was the same one I got before I lost Tiffany.

She would have lived an good life if she was here right now but I might have stayed with John though.

"It's ok Brielle, Tiffany is in a good place and I know she loves her mommy,"
I turn and seen LC standing there as she hugs me.

"I know she is, its just hard to be in here,"

"Brielle, lets head to the hockey store," Trina says.

"Ok, I'll see you in a few,"
I wheel my way out of the store as I breathe out.

"I know it gotta be tough for you to go in there,"

"Yeah it is, did sidney tell you that?"

"Yes he did, I know its tough,"
Me and Trina talk as we walk into the Pens Gear store.

"Welcome, may i help you?" A lady asks.

"No we are good,"
We walk as I wheel my way over to a pink Sid shirt as i pull it off the rack.

"I'm getting this," I say as I wheel around the store as I pick up a Neal shirt as well.

"Brie come here,"
I wheel my way over to where trina is as I look at what she was looking at.

It is a purple shirt with my picture on it, thanking the fans for their support.

"Wow, they must have prayed alot for me,"

"Sidney made a statement to the media then bracelets and shirts got created. Each game, they gave an update on you,"

"Wow I got to thank everyone,"
I grab the shirt as I go over and place the items on the counter.

"find everything ok?" she asks.

"Yes I did thank you," I say.
She rings everything up.

"I'm glad your ok by the way,"

"Thanks, I'm glad I'm ok too,"

"You can have theses for free, I'll pay for them,"

"You sure? I would feel guilty if you did that,"

"I'm sure,"
she bags the shirts and hands them to me.

"Thank you, i'll be back in again,"

"Your welcome, have a great day Brielle,"
I  walk over to Trina as we walk out of the store.

"She was so nice, she paid for my things. I feel bad but understood why she did," I say.

"She knows what you went through thats why,"
Me and Trina head back to the baby store but no one was there so we headed to the food court.

I see LC by the subway as I wheel over to her.

"figures your getting food," I say as she looks down at me.

"Hey I'm pregnant leave me alone," LC says as we laugh.

"Where is Nat and Deborah at?"

"At a table, how was the shopping see you got something?"

"I got three shirts and the girl gave them to me,"

"Aww how nice, soo"

"Brielle? Lauren?"
We turn around as this girl whos about 18 standing there with a book in her hand.

"Yes? who are you?" LC asks.

"Glad I found you two,"
She hugs us as me and LC look at one another.

Chapter 25// Never return you bastard

"Who are you?" Sidney asks as he walks back with me.

"Get away from her,"
I turn to see LC standing there as she walks over.
She has a gun in her hand as well.

"Lauren what are you doing?" I ask as I see James running over to LC.

"I'm gonna kill the bastard who killed our mother," LC says.
I look on as dad placed both of his hands up.

"You wouldn't kill your father, Lauren. I'm your blood and wait are you pregnant?"
I felt like I couldn't help.

"Sidney put me down," I say as he does and I walk slowly over to LC's side.

"Not of your fuckin business. Why the fuck are you here?"

"To get you and your sister, who can barely walk,"

"Shut up!!!" I yell.

"Your a little slut Lauren and possibly your sister is too,"

LC nods to the gun as I place my hand on top of hers as the noise goes off, knocking me on the floor.

"Brielle,"
I open my eyes to see Sidney and Mario besides me as I turn to see LC standing up as James has her in his arms.

"That's what you get your fucker,"

"I'm ok," I say as Sidney and Mario both helped me back up onto my feet as the blast from the gun put me on the ground in the first place.

I look on the ground to see my dad bleeding from his skull. We got him right in the middle of his head. He deserved to die for killing our mom.

"LC," I say as she turns around and walks over to me with tears in her eyes.
I wrap my arms around her as I felt sidney's hands on my shoulder.

"We finally don't have to worry about him," I say as she looks up at me in tears.

"He's in hell, where mom and Liam are in heaven," LC says as I nod and hold her for a few more minutes.

Then we break apart as we begin hearing police and fire engine sirens.

"We better head up front so we can meet them at the door," Mario says.
I feel myself being lift into the air.

"Sidney," I say as I turn and seen it was him with the biggest smile on his face.

I turn back around as James is hugging LC as Sidney being to walk to the living room.

Sidney places me down onto the couch as James walks LC over besides me.

"I'm so glad our nightmare is over," I say as I lean against my sister as she wraps her arms around me.

"He deserved it Brielle, he is a heartless man. can't believe he called me a slut. That bastard,"
I knew LC is pissed and know it isn't good for the baby.

"Calm down LC, it isn't good for the baby for you to be like this,"

She took a couple of deep breathes as a knock came at the front door.

I turn my head to see Mario answering it and 4 officers walking into the house.
They followed Mario to the back.

I look back over at LC as James is now sitting besides her. I know he will try his best to calm him down.

"Was everyone here when it happened?" An officer asks.

"Yes sir," Sidney says.

"So what happened?"
He walks into the living room where we all where at besides Mario.

"Well the alarm went off and my husband when to check on it. As he did he told us to go to the back where we met the mask guy at," Nathalie says.

"He was unmasked when we found him,"

"He did that himself, he is my father," I say.

"Whats his name?"

"Michael Collins, he tried to take me with him but he didn't touch me,"

"Who shot him?"

"Me and my sister did in self defense. I needed to protect my family at all costs," LC says.

"Did he make any threats to you?"

"Just said he was back to come get me and my sister. Thats it. He had no weapons on him," I say.

"Alright,"
He walks away as other officers walked in.

We said the same thing to them as they decided to no jail us since it was self defense.

"You want a police officer here tonight?" A man asks.

"That would be good, thank you for coming," Mario says.

"No problem. If you have any problems call us,"
The Three officers walk out as one stays behind for us.

We all just sit in the living room in silence.

"Are you going to stay here tonight LC?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes, if you wouldn't mind," LC says.

"Your more then welcome too, Sidney are you sleeping in the guest room tonight or on your couch?"

"I'm sleeping in my wing with Brie," Sidney says as I look up as he looked back down.

I wasn't scared of a second attack because I knew my dad's friends wouldn't want us if my dad was dead.

"You and James can have the guest room,"

"Where are Troy and Trina staying at?" LC asks.

"In Sidney's second room in his wing," Trina says.

"Ok, didn't want to take your room, if you were in it,"

"We would have given it up if we were in the guest room,"

"Aww thank you Trina,"
I guess LC and Trina have met and everything.

LC and James get up from off the couch.

"We will see in all in the morning. I love you little sister," LC says as I get up and give her the biggest hug.

"I love you too big sister," I say as she begins to cry.

"It's ok, just the hormones,"
I smile as she wipes her eyes as she walks pass me as I stop James.

"Thank you for taking good care of my sister James and my niece or nephew,"
I hug him.

"I've changed for the better and your sister is part of that," James says.

"Good,"
He nods as he walks over to LC as they head off for bed.

"We are also going to turn in for the night," Troy says as him and Trina both stand up.

"Alright, sleep well," Mario says as they both walk passed me.
When they did, they gave me a hug and said glad you are home.

Troy and Trina barely know me and they think of me as family. That makes me feel different inside.

"So you two going to bed anytime soon?" Nathalie asks.

"Not right now," sidney says.

"Well we might go up and lay down, if thats ok?" Mario asks.

"Go ahead,"
They get up and hug me before they head up the stairs.

"So what ya want to do?" Sidney asks as he wraps his arms around me

"Doesn't matter to me,"
Sidney then gets up as he picks me up into his arms.

"What are you doing?
He didn't say anything as we make our way back into Sidney's wing.

Walking in, Sidney goes straight to his room as he gently places me down onto the bed and then got into bed himself.

"Thought you wasn't tired?" I ask.

"I'm not,"
He then attacks my lips as I felt him moving his hands down my legs.

"Sidney,"
He stops and looks at me as he just attackes my lips as he moves my dress off from the bottom as he took it off by lifting me up.

I just look into his eyes as he attacks my lips once again.

Wrapping my arms around him, I strip him of his shirt as he quickly takes off his pants.

He them kisses me harder as I push him off of me.

"Sidney not yet," I say as I get under the covers with my panties on.

"I'm sorry babe,"
I feel Sidney get into the same bed as me.

Then I feel his arms wrap around me and pulls me close to him.

"I love you," He whispers.

"I love you too,"

Chapter 24// What just happened?

Sidney had brought in a wooden chair into the living room as everyone sat down and begins to talk.

"So where are your children Mario?" I ask.

"Lauren is in college taking a summer classes, Stephanie and Austin are in a hockey school and Alexa is at a friends house for the night. They were worried about you too," Mario says.

"I never got to really know then though,"

"Well they seen how Sidney was when you were in the hosptial and they were worried,"

"Aww, do they know I'm ok?"

"Yes they do," Nathalie says.
I smile as Sidney grabs my hand in his.

"I'm glad they do, now they don't have to worry,"

"They probably will until they see you, our children are like that," Mario says.

"Aww,"
We all talk for a little bit, I asked how was everyone and stuff like that.

"Let's put in a movie," Nathalie says as I see her getting up.

"What movie?" Trina asks.

"Not sure, Brielle do you want to pick?" Nathalie asks.

"What movies you have?" I ask.
She goes through the list.

" 13 going on 30,"I say.

"Guys, you want to go play poker while the girls watch this movie?" Mario asks.

"Oh Mario," Nathalie says as she smiles.

"I'm in, can't take anymore chick flicks," James says as I see him getting up.

"Ugh James you love them," LC says as I begin to laugh.

"I'm in too, how about you Sid?" Troy asks.

I look over at him as he did to me.

"Go play, I'm not going anywhere," I say as he kisses me and follows the guys into the next room.

"You want to come over here on the couch Brie?" Trina asks.

"Sure, I can't see the TV good over here," I say as I try to get up.

"Let us help you," Nathalie says as I watch her and Trina getting up.
They helped me get up as I walked slowly over to the couch that they were on but I took a seat at the end so I can place my feet up.

I try to move my legs onto the couch but I couldn't.

"Nathalie can you.."

"Sure sweetie,"
She places my legs onto the couch as she sits down.

"I'm so glad to have you back little sister," LC says from the loveseat.

"Glad to be out of that hosptial," I say
I missed everything when I was out in a coma.

Nathalie turns on the movie as I turn on my side so I can watch it.

During the movie, I would look over into the dining room to see Sidney and the boys playing cards. Sidney would look over at me and smile as James would have to hit him to play.

I also noticed that LC did the same but instead of Sidney would be James then Sidney would hit him to play.

After the movie is over, I watch as Nathalie starts going through channels to find something else on.
I turn as I see LC begin to yawn.

"James, can we go home? It's almost 9," LC says.

"Alright baby," I hear James say.
I watch as my sister gets up and walks over to me.

"I'm glad your home. I'll be back tomorrow to check on you," LC says as she leans over as I meet her half way for a hug.

"Alright, James you keep her safe," I say as I look over to James.

"I will Brie," James says as he leans over the back of the couch to hug me.

"You better,"
He smile as I watch LC go over to him as Deborah walks over to me.

"See you later sweetie, if you need anything and I'm not busy call James home number," she says.

"Thank you Deborah,"
She thinks of me really as family even tho I'm not with James.

She walks over to LC and James as all three of them walk out of the house.

"Damn you Sid,"
I turn my head as I see Troy walking back into the living room.
I kinda laughed as I see Sidney coming back in as well.

Nathalie kindly got up out of her seat as Sidney sits by where my feet are at.

"Come over here babe,"
I turn to see Nathalie going over and sitting on Mario's lap.

"So anyone else retiring for the night?" mario asks.

"Nope," I say.
I wasn't even that tired.

"So what does everyone want to do?" Mario asks as the alarm started to go off.
I cover my ears as I watch Mario running over to the front door to turn off the alarm.

"Get out of the house now," Mario says as he starts walking back over to us.

Sidney quickly picks me up as he rushes to the backdoor as someone stood there blocking it.

He had a black hood over his head as he takes it off.

"Your coming with me,"
He moves his head up as I seen him and knew who he was.

Chapter 23// Discharged home

I lay there in the hosptial with a sleeping Sidney right next to me. It was good to be back next to him.

"Brie you still awake?"

"Yeah, I can't get to bed,"

"Want me to get up and go over to the chair? You wouldn't hurt my feelings. I know theses damn beds are too small,"

"Would you?"
He gets out of the bed as I watch him pull a recliner over to the bed.

"This feels much better," Sidney says as he lays in the chair.
I hit him.

"Watch it Sidney,"
I smile a I close my eyes to try to sleep.


I open my eyes to hearing people talking.
Turning my body around, I see Sidney talking with James.

"Your awake babe. Did we wake you?" Sidney asks.

"No, where is LC?" I ask.

"She is down with my mom in the cafe. She was straving," James says.

A knock came at the door as it opens.

"May I come in?"
It is the doctor.

"Sure," I say as I sit up in the bed.

"Well we are looking to releasing you today, you will have to have weekly visits here to get checked out. We usually dont release people this fast but in your case we will. Who are you going home with?"

"Shes going home with me," Sidney says.

"Alright, you got to keep your eye on her, if she isnt with you make sure someone else is,"

"Can she go to the home game tomorrow?"

"I advise she stay at home for the rest of the week, no traveling, work, nothing but staying at home if she can,"

"Alright she will do that,"

"I'll be back in soon or a nurse should be,"

"thank you doctor," I say

"Your very welcome Brielle,"
He walks out of the room.

"Looks like my day just got better," Sidney says.

"Yes it did, wait til LC finds out," I say

"She will want to stay there," James says.

"We are back, your awake sleepyhead," LC says as she walks into the room.

"Yep, I get to go home today," I say.
She walks over to me and hugs me.

"My baby sister is finally going home, you going to stay with Mario and Nat?"

"Yeah I'm staying in there house, i rather have me close then them driving down to check on me,"

"True, I'm so excited,"

"Your already showing, how many weeks are you again?"

"I'm 12 weeks,"

"Look more then that,"

"Hey don't make me feel fat,"
I laugh as she sits at the foot of the bed.

"Does anyone have any clothes for me to wear?" I ask.

"I'll call Nathalie and ask her you bring some up," Sidney says as he stands up and walks over to the window.

"I'm so glad that your finally getting out of here," LC says.

"Me too," I say
I just sit on the bed as all four of us talk until a nurse walked in.

"You ready to go home?"
She comes in with a smile on her face.

"Yes, two months is too long," I say.

"Yes it is, I need to get your IV out of your arm,"

I sit up in the bed as the nurse got all the gloves on.

Turning my head to the window, I look at Sidney as he smiles at me before the nurse takes out of the IV.

"You are good," She says as I turn back around to see  bandage over the spot where it was.

"So ready for the papers to get out of here?" She asks as Sidney walks back over.

"Yes," I say

She goes over with me directions and what happened. she then talked to Sidney about what he needs to do.

"Alright sign here,"
Sidney grabs the pen and signs his name.

"Alright Brielle, hope you dont have to be back in here," she says.

"Me too," I say as she walks out.

"Just got to wait on Nathalie," Sidney says.

"Hey baby, you want to head on over to Mario's house? so we can be there when they get home?" James asks.
LC slowly gets off the bed.

"Yes, Deborah are you coming?" LC asks.

"Yes I am," She says as she walks over to me.

"I was praying for you and I'm glad you get to come home,"

"Thank you Deborah," I say as she hugs me.

"We will see you soon sis," LC says as she hugs me again as her, James, and Deborah walks out of the room.

Sidney walks over to me and puts his hand down for me to grab to get out of bed.

"Wow," I say as I walk around the room with Sidney to get my barrings back.

"You will get the hanging of walking again," Sidney says as we walk around the room again.
My legs still like jello.

"I'm going to need help walking for the next few days," I say as a knock came at the door.

"I know, I will be here for you,"

"Not tomorrow and the rest of the week. You got games and traveling,"

"You will have alot of people to help you. Come in,"

The door opens up and Nathalie stands there.

"Your up, I'm glad your coming home," Nathalie says as she comes into the room and closes the door.

"Me too, thanks again for letting me stay in your house," I say as she places the clothes on my bed.

"Your welcome sweetie, remember you are family just like Sidney is,"
She hugs me as I wrap my arm around her while the other one is in Sidneys hand.

"Well do you need help?" she asks.

"I think Sidney came help me," I say.

"Alright, I will be downstairs waiting on you two,"
She leaves the room.

"You been bumming rides?" I ask as Sid smiles from left to right.

He takes me back over to the bed as I sit down.

I try to takes off my gown but Sidney stands up and unties the back of it as I kick it off me.

Sidney then gets me dressed in a long dress that is purple with sparkles on it.

"Now you just gotta stand up," Sid says as he grabs me hand and pulls me up.

"Thank you, can I try to walk myself?" I ask.

"Yea baby,"
I walk very slowly to the door as I open it.

I then walk the rest of the way down the first level of the hosptial and out the doors.

"Shes right in front," Sidney says.
I walk slowly over to the car as Sidney opens up the front door.

He then picks me up and puts me into the car.
I knew I couldn't of done that by myself.

I then slowly move my legs into the car as Sidney closes the door.

"How was walking again?" Nathalie asks as Sidney gets into the car.

"It was hard but felt good. Thanks Sid," I say.

"I knew you needed help Brie," Sidney says as I felt his hand on my shoulder.
Nathalie takes off down the road.

"Oh I know it had to been hard," Nathalie says.

All the way home, I talked to Nathalie and Sidney as Sid keeps his hand on my shoulder and arm.

Nathalie then pulls up into the driveway.

"I'm going down to your house and turn around to come back up. I want to drop you off by the sidewalk in the front," Nathalie says.

"Ok," I say.
So she goes all the way down, turns around and drives back up.

"Here is your stop," She says as she stops by the sidewalk.

"Thank you," I say as I heard sidney get out of the car.

He opens the door as I move my legs to the side as he reaches on and picks me up from out of the car.

He places me on the ground as I begin my slow walk up to the stairs.

"You want help?" Sidney asks.

"I want to try," I say.
I tried lifting my leg onto the step but it didn't work so I try to just simply walk up them.

I grab the handle as I make my walk up the stairs slowly.

Sidney places his hand on my back the whole time, just in case I fall

After making it up to the top, I stopped.
I then feel me being picked up.

"Sidney what are you doing?" I ask as I see Mario open the door.

"I'm walking you into the house, you don't need to wear yourself out,"
He walks with me in his arms into the house as everyone I knew is here.

"Where do you want to sit?" Sidney asks.
I look and LC and James were on the loveseat so I looked over to the recliner.

"The recliner," I say as he walks over and places me down.

"It's good to be back, I still dont remember alot though, the the most important thing is I know who you all are and what you mean to me," I say.

Mario, Nathalie, James, LC, Troy, Trina and Deborah all looked at me.

"We are glad to be here for you sweetie," Trina says.

I wonder what my life would be without everyone here and Sidney.

Looking up at Sidney, he leans over and kisses me.
