Once reaching Consol Energy Center, I seen that the parking spot I had earlier was filled, so I went and drove to the parking lot across the street.
Turning and parking into a space, I get out of the car and walk across to the streetlight.
Pressing the button, I watch as all the cars to a stop.
Seeing the walk symbol, I walk across the street.
Walking down the sidewalk, I stop at the doors to the Consol Energy Center.
Opening them I walk on in.
Was I suppose to go to the front desk or right on up to Mr.Lemieux's office.
"Ms.Collins?" A lady asks me.
She was the woman at the desk, so I walk on over to her.
"Yes," I reply.
"Mr.Lemieux is expecting you in the office, remember how to get there?" She asks.
"Yes ma'am,"
"Alright, I will let him know you are on your way up,"
Turning around I head for the stairs that I took earlier to get up to the offices.
Once I reached for the doors, I open it and walk in.
I walked down the hall and found Mr.Lemieux's office.
I knock on the door.
"Come in Brielle, have a seat," he says as I does what he tells me to do.
"So what is this about?" I ask as he comes over from his computer.
"I have a question would you like to move into my guest house instead of living in Mt. Lebanon paying me rent?"
I don't remember signing a lease with him.
"Your not the condo owner,"
"Yes I am, I just dont deal with everything day to day. I do own that property,"
"Oh wow,"
"Yea, its a shocker I know, so I already talked to Nathalie, my wife and she said she is happy to have you and your sister come stay with us in the guest house. You will have your own privacy, just you don't pay anything to me. Wouldn't feel right if you payed me rent when I sign your check,"
"Let me call my sister,"
"Take your time,"
Taking my phone out of my pocket, I dial LC's number.
"Hey sis whats up?" she asks,
"Well my boss just asked us to move into his guest house. He is the property owner were we live at. He says he doesnt feel right with us paying rent since we both work for him. If we move to the guest house, we will live there rent free. His wife said it was ok as well," I say.
"Say yes, we will rent free,"
She made me laugh a little.
"Ok, talk to you later,"
I hang up the phone.
"We will take it," I say as Mario walks over to me.
He places his hand out as I take it and shake it.
"Deal, you can move in today if you want too, or tomorrow," he says.
"Thank you, can I hug you?" I ask.
He holds his arms out as I gave him the biggest hug that I could.
"Your very welcome, Brielle. Oh here is my address, yours now too,"
He hands me a sticky note with his address on it.
"Thank you,"
"Oh we are going to have a Penguins party tonight at my house for the newcomers like you and your sister, Lauren. Most of the players will be there, I know the coach will be, Ray will be and a few others. My family wont be there since they are over in Minnasota with my daughter Stephanie. Half will be like a chatting the other an indoor pool party/ dance party. So I will see you tonight around 7ish," He says.
"I will be there, see you tonight,"
"Tomorrow after work I'll order you a U-haul so you can move,"
"Thank you, bye Mr. Lemieux,"
"It's Mario,"
"Mario, ok got it,"
I walk out of the office as I grab my cell, dialing LC's number once again.
"Hey, are you outta there?" she asks as I walk down the stairs to the main level.
"Almost, we are going to attend the newcomers party tonight.its for the new people to the penguins," I say.
"Atleast we get out,"
She begins to laugh.
"That's true, anyways whenever I get off tomorrow, I'm going home to pack. Mario is going to rent a U-haul for us,"
"That's sweet. I'm picking out my outfit for tonight as we speak,"
My sis, I love her to death but sometimes she likes to be perfect.
"Alright, Well i'm out of the building. ill be home in less than 20,"
"Ok, see ya sis,"
Hangin up my phone, I walk out down the sidewalk to the street light.
I hit the button like before and the little walk symbol comes on, so I cross the street to get back over to my Range Rover.
Once I reach it, i open the doors and get inside.
Putting the key in began the car up as I pull out of the parking space and then out of the parking lot heading home.
23 minutes later, I pull back into my tiny driveway as I hit a button to open the garage.
Lc's car was in my space again, so I had to park in her space, in front of the doorway.
Don't know why she always parks in my space.
I get out of the car and head inside the house, closing the garage door behind me.
"I'm home!!" I exclaim as I head for the staircase.
"I'm in the bathroom," LC says.
After climbing the stairs, I walk down to the master bedroom at the end of the hall.
Walking in, I see this short sleeve shirt with a penguins logo on it as well as a C on the top.
"I got the C because your like a captain in this house," LC says as she begins to laugh.
turning around, I say"am not,"
"Yes you are sis but anyways I thought you would like that. And That Purple dress is for you as well,"
I turn around to see the beauiful dress I have ever seen.
It was short and had spagetti straps and it had a darker purple short jacket to go with it.
"Thanks, you didn't have to get this," I say.
"I wanted too since I know you like purple. So do you know were we are going?" she asks.
"No but my GPS will know,"
Me and LC agreed to move out here together about a month ago, we have already broken up with our boyfriends but we needed to get out of the cities we were in.
I was in NYC while LC was in Boston, so we got a plan together, found out the Penguins were hiring so that was it.
"So we are taking your big SUV?" she asks.
"Yep, it has one built in," I reply.
"Ok, so what time is it anyways?"
looking up the clock read 6:00 pm
"We got an hour, so we need to hurry up,"
"I'm already dressed and ready, now it's your turn,"
I sigh as I close my room door to change into that purple dress that LC gave me.
I pick out these glitter purple flats that go along great with my outfit.
Opening the door, I walk into the bathroom to see myself in the long mirror.
This was the best outfit that I ever had and my sis picked it out.
"that looks good, Brie. You look formal but causal at the same time with those flats. Want me to do something with your hair?" she asks me.
"Yes,"
"Ok sit in the chair,"
I take a seat in the chair that's in our huge bathroom as LC begins to work on my hair.
After she was done, it was up in a messy bun style but some was down as well.
"There, now you look complete, unless you want make-up on?"
"No make-up LC. You know I don't like it," I say.
"I was just checking, anyways are you ready to go?"
"Yep, I'm nervous though,"
We walk out of the bathroom together as I head back into my room to get my keys.
"Are you gonna take your small purse just for your keys and phone?"
That's a good idea.
I go into my closet to grab my small hand hald purse.
After I grab my keys and cell phone, I place them in as i close it.
"Good idea, now we can go," I say.
We both turn around as we head down the hall then down the stairs.
I hear LC blowing out candles.
Shaking my head, i make my way out to the garage then to my car.
hopping in, I began it up as I grab the sticky note that Mario gave it.
I turn on the GPS system as I say the address to the machine.
It will take around 30 minutes to get there.
"So how long will it take?" LC says as she gets into the car.
"About 30 minutes to get to the house," I say.
"Ok, well let's get on the road since there might be rush hour traffic,"
I pull out of our drive and got out onto the main road to the highway.
"I'm glad your driving," she says.
"Why?" I ask.
"cause you drive better on them then me. I hate highway driving,"
"that's why I got the Range Rover,"
I chuckle a little as LC does the same.
Around 30 minutes later, we arrive to a gated house, so I drive up to this speaker thing and hit a button.
"How is this," a man;s voice says.
"Brielle Collins, I'm here for the party," I say.
"Oh come on up Brielle,"
It is Mario.
"Thank you,"
The gate opens as I drive on up into the driveway.
I saw Mario standing, so I stop by him.
"Park next to silver Range rover down there," he says.
"Ok,"
I head down and park besides the other Range Rover.
"This should be fun," Lc says as she gets out of the car.
I grab my purse as I turn off my car and get out.
I walk over to were Mario is at.
"Glad you two could make it, while there is a little time left, do you want to see the guest house?" He asks.
"Sure," LC says.
Mario walks back to where me parked and beyond that.
We walked past the main house, as it was huge.
"Well our main house, has an extra wing but that belongs to someone else. He comes and stays here from time to time. Anyways here is your house," He says as we step onto a big guest house.
"Is this on your property?" I ask.
"Yep, you have to pass the main house and garage to get to it. It's at the very end of the driveway,"
"Wow, this place is huge," LC says as Mario opens the door for use.
"Now, this house has a living room, kicthen, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It's all a one level house as you can tell," he says as we walk through the whole house.
Once we reached the master bedroom, I walked in. This room is huge.
"Brie you will get your own bathroom connected if you get this room," he says.
"Oh she will get this room. She is like the captain of me and her" LC says, laughing.
"Yep," I say agreeing.
I walk back out of the room and we finished the tour.
"I will hand you both a key tomorrow but for now let's get to the party. It's around 7 and people should be getting here,"
